In Chelyabinsk, a suspect was detained in an attack on a lawyer who demanded to deprive the mandate of a deputy from “ER”

In Chelyabinsk, the police detained a man who is suspected of attacking lawyer Nikolai Koshman. According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this man has already confessed, and now the issue of his detention is being decided.

It is noted that the police came to the suspect, interviewing residents of the house on Engels Street, which was attacked. The department does not name the detainee, and his face is blurred in the published footage.

Koshman told Sota that he had received a notice from the police that the suspect had been detained, but he himself had not yet seen him and could not confirm that this man really participated in the attack. The lawyer just got out of the hospital today, where he spent about three weeks.

Koshman was attacked in the early hours of March 6 as he left his home to go to work. According to the lawyer's wife, there were two attackers. As a result of the beating, Koshman was diagnosed with a craniocerebral injury, fractures of his arm and jaw.

The lawyer is known for filing a lawsuit against the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk region, demanding to deprive deputy Alexei Denisenko of his mandate, who did not indicate his family's assets abroad in his income declaration. On March 20, it became known that the court dismissed this claim.
