The prosecution requested two years in prison for the father of Masha Moskaleva, who drew an anti-war drawing

During the debate in the Efremovskiy Interdistrict Court of the Tula Region, the prosecution demanded that Aleksey Moskalev, whose daughter made an anti-war drawing in a drawing lesson, be sentenced to two years in prison in a criminal case on the so-called discrediting of the Russian army.

The court found that Moskalev had an underage daughter as an aggravating circumstance, but the prosecutor called the commission of a “crime” during the so-called special operation an aggravating circumstance.

Prosecutor Oleg Timakov also asked to ban the man from using the Internet for three years. Moskalev's case was considered in one day. Sentencing is set for March 28.

Moskalev was charged with repeated “discrediting” of the army due to several publications in Odnoklassniki, including the murders of Bucha residents and Ukrainian prisoners of war in Yelenovka. The man himself says that he did not publish these posts, and his page was hacked several times. Moskaleva and his daughter Masha were persecuted after the girl drew an anti-war drawing at school during an art lesson. The teacher denounced her to the school administration, and her father and her came with a search. The man was taken to the FSB, and Masha was sent to a shelter. Since then, Moskalev has been under house arrest in a criminal case on the repeated “discrediting” of the Russian army (part 1 of article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
