A swindler convinced a pensioner to open fire at Sberbank so that he would “catch the criminals” – Baza

A 72-year-old pensioner from Moscow opened fire with a pistol in a Sberbank branch, as telephone scammers convinced him that he was participating in a “special operation” and should catch the “criminals”. Baza reports .

Mikhail came to the bank branch in Nemansky passage and sat down next to one of the employees, all this time he was talking on the phone. The worker asked him to leave, but the pensioner refused, saying that he was on a “special assignment” and was now talking on the phone with a “police captain”. The "Captain" promised that he would soon come and expose the scammers who steal his personal data. According to the publication, the pensioner was shouted into the phone:

"It's them! They are leaking your data to scammers! That's her! Shoot! Shoot, but not at people, shoot upwards.

The man shot at the ceiling with a pistol, the man sitting next to him was able to immediately disarm him. After that, according to the channel, the police came to the bank and detained the pensioner. No other details of what happened were given.
