The Court of Cassation in Vladivostok overturned the acquittal of the artist Yulia Tsvetkova, according to the Caution News project.
Now the case will be considered again in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. According to the artist’s lawyer, there is no reasoned decision yet, but the court again declared the girl’s work to be “pornographic”.
In July last year, the Central District Court of Komsomolsk-on-Amur acquitted Tsvetkova. After that, it became known that the artist left Russia.
The case against Tsvetkova was initiated under the article “Illegal production and circulation of pornographic materials using the Internet” on November 20, 2019 after a denunciation by Timur Bulatov, whose main activity is the dismissal of teachers who were seen in LGBT “propaganda”.
The basis for the denunciation of Tsvetkova was the drawings that Tsvetkova published in her public "VKontakte" "Vagina Monologues".
In June 2022, Tsvetkova was added to the list of "foreign media agents".
