Aleksei Moskalev detained in an apartment in Minsk – SOTA

The father of the Tula schoolgirl Masha Moskaleva, who drew an anti-war drawing at the lesson, Aleksey Moskalev was detained in Minsk. SOTA reports . Presumably, the detention was due to the inclusion of a mobile phone in the apartment, which was used to identify the fugitive.

On the night of March 28, Moskalev escaped from house arrest. After that, in the afternoon in Tula Efremov, he was sentenced to 2 years in prison for repeated "discrediting the army."

On March 2, Moskalev was placed under house arrest, and his daughter Masha was taken to an orphanage. Since then, no one was allowed to see the girl and did not allow her to communicate with the outside world. The Commission on Juvenile Affairs went to court to deprive the father of parental rights.

As Moskalev himself said, law enforcement agencies became interested in his family in April 2022. Then Masha, a sixth-grader, drew a picture with the flag of Ukraine and the inscriptions “No to war” and “Glory to Ukraine” at the lesson. The art teacher denounced the child to the director, and the same day the police arrived at the school.

Soon, 53-year-old Moskalev, who is raising his daughter alone, drew up a protocol on the "discredit" of the army. The reason was a comment in Odnoklassniki. Then a resident of Efremov was fined 32 thousand rubles. At the end of December, they came to the Moskalevs' house with a search, the father was interrogated by the FSB and, according to him, beaten. A criminal case was initiated on repeated "discrediting". The case includes posts in Odnoklassniki about the killings of civilians in Bucha and other crimes. Moskalev claimed during the trial that he did not publish these posts and that his page on the social network was repeatedly hacked.
