ASTRA: Four Chechen police officers were injured in a shootout in Gudermes

Four police officers from the Kadyrov Special Forces Police Regiment were injured while trying to detain armed men in Gudermes, ASTRA reports citing its own sources. The shooting took place the day before, March 28.

According to ASTRA, the Gudermes police received a message that a group of armed people was near a residential building on Ahrieva Street, after which the security forces went there.

Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel at night that a "special operation to neutralize" some "militants" had been carried out in Gudermes. According to him, they were blocked in a private house and threw a grenade towards the police, after which they were shot dead. According to Kadyrov, none of the security forces were injured.

Kadyrov posted a video showing men in camouflage bringing and placing the half-dressed and mutilated bodies of two people in front of him.
