RIA “Novosti” issued the Republican election campaign for fear of the United States before the union of China and Russia

RIA "Novosti" published an article under the heading "In the United States, they were afraid of the future that Russia is preparing for them." It says :

There may be no place for the United States in the new world order if Russia and China succeed in realizing their plans, writes The Washington Times.

“If the two powers get their way, then the US will not only not be at the head of the negotiating table, but will not even get a place at its far end,” the publication says.

The article notes that the erratic US retreat from Afghanistan in 2021 and President Joe Biden's uncertain foreign policy were a clear sign of the decline of the United States for Russian leader Vladimir Putin. “The strengthening relationship between Russia and China has already led to Moscow converting up to 17 percent of its foreign exchange reserves into yuan,” the journalists write. <…>

“While President Biden is floundering, China and Russia seem intent on establishing a new world order in which, unfortunately, there is no place for America,” the publication concludes.

In fact, an editorial in the pro-Republican The Washington Times, titled "China and Russia's New World Order Without America," is less about forecasts and analysis of the international situation than it is about President Biden. It starts like this:

Barack Obama promised 'hope and change'. President Biden could surpass him by accelerating the "new world order." This is what international observers call the emerging power bloc, striving for world domination. And it is not created by the Americans, it is the work of China and Russia. If the two axial powers get their way, the United States will not only not be at the head of the table, they will not get a place even at its far end.

The Washington Times argues:

“Now there has been a change that hasn't happened in 100 years,” Mr. Xi reportedly told his Russian counterpart as he walked away. “When we are together, we are bringing about that change.”

The American newspaper sees the reason for these changes in the “indiscriminate retreat” of the United States from Afghanistan in 2021, which, of course, blames Biden. According to the editors, America demonstrated its weakness and decline, which prompted Putin to attack Ukraine.

Thus, the main conclusion is made on the basis of just one non-binding diplomatic statement by the Chinese leader; Republican propagandists did not see any other signs of the emerging new world order, and, it seems, they were not really looking for. However, one economic argument was found:

“China is buying up influence where Biden’s missteps have undermined the historic stability that made the US dollar the world’s reserve currency. The nascent relationship between Russia and China has already resulted in Moscow converting up to 17% of its foreign exchange reserves into yuan.”

Indeed, back in January 2022, Russia announced that it had invested 17.1% of its reserves in the yuan. But Bloomberg pointed out in September that this decision was unsuccessful: it would be difficult to use these funds, since the sale of assets in yuan requires a separate agreement with China. That is, this is not a sign of the formation of a new world order, but only of Russia's growing dependence on China.
