The Mozdok District Court of North Ossetia fined a native of the republic, activist Vladimir Zagalov, 30,000 rubles under an article about “discrediting” the Russian army for taking photos from anti-war rallies in Tbilisi, where he has been living for more than six months. According to the court order, the E center found photos from the protests on Zagalov's page on the VKontakte social network. In one of them, an activist holds up a poster with the slogan "Stop war and violence." In addition, according to the security forces, other photographs show that Zagalov "took part in public events … was photographed against the background of other people participating in the rally, protesting against the use of the Russian Armed Forces."

Articles about "discredit" and "fakes" about the Russian army during the war managed to become popular. As of early March, at least 196 people were being prosecuted . On March 28, in Efremov, Tula region, Aleksey Moskalev was sentenced to two years in prison in the case of “discrediting”.
