Simonyan said that Vladlen Tatarsky was sentenced in Ukraine. But she didn’t specify why.

Margarita Simonyan circulated on her Telegram channel and social networks a statement by RT employee Ilya Vasyunin regarding the famous statement of the deceased Z-propagandist Vladlen Tatarsky:

“Supporters of the terrorist act, I beg your pardon, opponents of the war, publish what they think is a revealing video with Vladlen Tatarsky with the words “we will kill and rob everyone”, forgetting out of habit that Vladlen Tatarsky, who was born in Makeyevka and joined the militia, like tens of thousands other people of Donbass, was sentenced by the current Kiev authorities to prison, torture and humiliation; It was for Vladlen Tatarsky that the Russian Federation lay at the feet of the Kyiv authorities for eight years, pleading for forgiveness and restoration of their rights (see the “amnesty” clause in the so-called Minsk agreements) with a well-known result. It is unlikely that Vladlen Tatarsky should have felt in relation to the Kyiv asset, for which he was a “Dambasian” and “Lugandon”, something other than “we will kill and rob everyone”; if the supporters of the terrorist act, that is, the opponents of the war, were allowed to talk about the civil conflict on the territory of Ukraine (and not just about “Russian aggression”), they could try to understand that the consequences of the civil conflict are unpleasant, but that’s exactly what they are.”

Maxim Fomin, known under the pseudonym Vladlen Tatarsky, was indeed sentenced by a Ukrainian court to 8 years in prison. But for some reason, RT employees do not specify why. But Tatarsky himself did not hide this. In his book Running, he wrote :

“I met the Russian Spring while in prison. By court verdict, he was serving a sentence for an armed robbery of one of the commercial banks. I could not afford to sit out while my war was going on, and I decided to get to the front at all costs. Having escaped with a group of convicts, I joined the ranks of the militia.

"Kommersant" writes about this page of the biography of the deceased "commander":

“In December 2011, according to his story, he robbed a bank with his friends. He was arrested and convicted, served his sentence in a colony in Gorlovka. In the summer of 2014, there were battles near the colony. On August 27, 2014, Maxim Fomin escaped from the colony and joined the militia, participated in the hostilities with the call sign Professor. Later he was arrested again, as there were no legal grounds for his release. However, he was pardoned by the head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko. Served under field commander Igor Bezler. Then he ended up in the Vityaz unit. After the transformation of the militia into the people's militia (NM) and until the end of 2014, he served in the reconnaissance company of the fourth brigade of the NM of the LPR. In the spring of 2015, he ended up in the Vostok battalion, with which he fought for a year. In 2017, he signed a contract with the NM of the LPR. Served in battalion intelligence. He was not taken to the People's Militia of the DPR because of his criminal record.”

The website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice published the verdict to Fomin (Tatarsky) and his accomplices. According to Mediazona journalist Dmitry Treschanin, in the text of the verdict, Fomin's name is hidden under the designation OSOBA_6.

It was established that Tatarsky and a previously convicted citizen of Belarus, pulling stockings over their faces, entered the branch of the Capital bank in Makeevka and, threatening the cashier with a gun received from Fomin, forced the cashier to give 11,707 hryvnias, 1,250 euros, 255 US dollars and 10,800 Russian rubles . The robbers did not take into account only the fact that the bank, in case of a robbery, prepared in advance a “doll” disguised as a bundle of banknotes with a GSM beacon, on the signal of which they were tracked down.

So, when Tatarsky, during the signing ceremony by Vladimir Putin of the decree on the annexation of four regions of Ukraine, declared “we will rob everyone who is necessary,” he reasoned with knowledge of the matter.
