The house of the Crimean Tatar was searched in the case of “sabotage” on the railway

A new search was conducted in Crimea in connection with the case of "sabotage" on the railway, which took place in February near the village of Pochtovoye, Bakhchisaray district. According to the public organization "Crimean Solidarity", the security forces searched the house of an elderly Crimean Tatar Fazyl Emiruseinov in the village of Rodnoe in Sevastopol.

Nothing is reported about the procedural status of Emiruseinov, it is only known that he was not detained.

According to the report, Emiruseinov attended court hearings on cases of Crimean Tatars and was a defense witness in one of such cases. In September 2021, a man was detained outside the FSB building during a protest and subsequently fined 7,000 rubles.

Since the end of February, as part of the case of "sabotage" on the railway, Russian security forces have carried out searches in the homes of dozens of Crimean Tatars.
