Trepova’s husband said that another person was detained in the case of the murder of Tatarsky

In addition to Daria Trepova, another person was detained in the case of the murder of propagandist Vladlen Tatarsky, her husband Dmitry Rylov told The Insider. According to him, the detainee's name is Dmitry Kasintsev.

Rylov said that Kasintsev was his acquaintance, Trepova was in his apartment at the time of his arrest.

“She contacted me in the last 24 hours, I lost contact with her about four or five hours ago,” Rylov said.

According to him, Trepova was “set up”, she did not know that the figurine contained explosives:

“Personally, I saw her a long time ago, last summer. Daria didn't tell me anything about it. Of course, I was able to guess from some hints. Perhaps it was them, perhaps not, but when it was told to me in plain text, I did not inquire. All I knew was that Daria needed, either for some task, or for some reason, to transfer some kind of gift, I didn’t even know which one.

There is one very important point that she told me in text several times – she was sure that this thing would allow access to a person, that is, it was not something that should have exploded. I even calmed down a bit. She was in complete confidence that Dasha was not the kind of person who could kill anyone. It really just set up and used. The last day I contacted her, but I lost contact about 4-5 hours ago with my friend in the apartment, who had her, he was also detained. It was Dmitry Kasintsev, they didn't write about it in the news.

Daria said that she was set up and I completely agree – no one expected this. As far as I know, it was necessary to hand over this bust, in which there was something. I thought it was an electronic device, and I don't know what it was, but it certainly wasn't an explosive. We talked about this at least twice. Daria would not be able to do this. ”

Earlier, the Shot Telegram channel, citing a source, reported that Trepova's first words after her arrest were: “I was set up! I was just being used!"

Daria Trepova was detained on the morning of April 3 in an apartment in St. Petersburg. According to preliminary data, the day before she visited the “creative evening” of propagandist Vladlen Tatarsky in a cafe on Universitetskaya embankment and presented him with a figurine, which exploded. Tatarsky died, more than 30 people were injured.

The National Anti-Terrorism Committee reported that Tatarsky's murder was planned by the Ukrainian special services "with the involvement of agents from the FBK" Alexei Navalny. The NAC claims that Trepova is "an active supporter of Navalny's team."
