Dmitry Kasintsev, in whose apartment Daria Trepova was detained the day after the explosion in a St. Petersburg cafe, is a witness in the case. According to 78.ru, he was interrogated in this capacity at the Main Investigation Department of the TFR. According to the publication, Kasintsev said during interrogation that he knew nothing about the explosion, and accepted Trepova simply out of kindness.
Telegram channel 112, close to the security forces , writes with reference to Kasintsev's parents that he was friends with Trepova's husband Dmitry Rylov, the young people once studied together at the university. The channel also notes that the girl was shell-shocked during the explosion, did not hear well and was poorly oriented in space.
Kasintsev's father told Channel Five that his son moved to St. Petersburg from Ussuriysk six years ago and graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.
On April 3, Rylov told The Insider that Kasintsev was detained along with Trepova, who was at his home. Later, footage appeared showing how the security forces were taking Kasintsev out into the street.
Daria Trepova is accused of organizing an explosion in a cafe on the Universitetskaya embankment in St. Petersburg, where on April 2 a “creative meeting” with propagandist Vladlen Tatarsky was held. According to investigators, Trepova gave him a figurine, which soon exploded. Tatarsky died, more than 30 people were injured. Trepova disappeared, she was found the next day.
On April 4, the girl was brought to Moscow, the court sent her to a pre-trial detention center. Trepova was charged with a terrorist act.
