“Drain” of American intelligence, Ukrainian UAVs in the Moscow region, saboteurs again entered the Bryansk region. What’s going on at the front

Ukraine is preparing 40,000 fighters for a counteroffensive, Reuters reports . The names of the units in which the recruitment was carried out are Azov, Steel Border, Hurricane, Spartan, Chervona Kalina, Frontier, Fury and Kara Dag. If the operation fails, the West may start pushing Ukraine into negotiations with Russia, writes Reuters.

Yevgeny Prigozhin criticized the “paramilitary officials” for the fact that Ukrainian drones are increasingly flying into Russia. “As for the flights of these UAVs. The near-military officials are responsible for this, who hope that at some point they will open their eyes, and everything will be fine around, and my mother is holding their hand. You don't have to rely on it. Mom is not. Mom died".

Russian troops removed equipment from a storage base in northern Crimea. The latest satellite images show that there were tanks, armored vehicles and artillery in this area a month ago. This is reported by a specialist from the American Enterprise Institute (American Enterprise Institute) Brady Afrik. He also notes that Russian troops have built several fortifications near Medvedevka in northern Crimea.

Ugledar direction . A video appeared on pro-Russian Telegram channels, allegedly showing the moment an air defense missile hit a HIMARS MLRS missile.

Bakhmut direction . The Russian military fired on Bakhmut from the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system. A video of the destruction of another part of the city was published by a channel associated with the Wagner PMC. The location was confirmed by the Ukrainian osinter project CyberBoroshno.

Donetsk. The Kalininsky district of Donetsk came under fire from the Ukrainian army. As a result, at least 9 people died and 7 more were injured. According to pro-Russian Telegram channels, the shelling was carried out using GMLRS missiles from HIMARS or M270 rocket launchers.

Belarus . At least 10 tanks of the 120th brigade were transferred to the border area with Lithuania at night, according to the Belarusian Gayun project. The redeployment took place on the night of April 6 at the Gudogai railway station, which is nine kilometers from the border with Lithuania, an echelon with at least 20 pieces of equipment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus arrived. It is known that at least 10-15 T-72B / B3 tanks, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles and MT-LB arrived among the equipment in the echelon. According to the project, the equipment of the 120th brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, which is deployed in Uruchcha, Minsk, was transferred. It should be noted that NATO exercises Rising Bull are currently taking place in Lithuania.

Mutual shelling

Two drones fell in the Moscow region. One fell in Khimki, TASS writes . It was discovered by security guards of the Fakel machine-building design bureau on the territory of an enterprise that specializes in the production of Tor and S-400 air defense systems. According to Telegram channels, the drone was equipped with a photo and video camera. The second drone crashed in the industrial zone of Podolsk, writes SHOT. The copter crashed near several factories specializing in the production of railway rolling stock and hydraulic motors.

In the east, the Ukrainian 45th Artillery Brigade hit a Russian T-90M tank with captured 9K129 Kornet anti-tank systems, and then dropped two Molotov balls on the damaged tank using a drone, writes Ukraine Weapons Tracker.

The story continues with the fallen Ukrainian light aircraft in the Bryansk region. Earlier, the detained pilot said that for 50 thousand hryvnia he had to fly for the second plane and take pictures on command. According to him, he did not know that the planes were already in Russian airspace. On April 6, the Telegram channel Baza reported that two air bombs were dropped from aircraft on the territory of the Slava plant of the Federal Reserve.

In the Belgorod region, meanwhile, a Ukrainian UAV was shot down, according to z-channels and the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov. He was allegedly intercepted by air defense in the Valuysky city district. Apparently, this is a Poseidon H10 reconnaissance drone.

The pro-Russian Telegram channel “Military Informant” writes that on April 4, Su-35S fighters launched two air strikes with guided bombs on the village of Pechenyugi, Chernihiv region. Volunteer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yekaterina Yushchenko and operator of the electronic intelligence department of the radio interception and direction finding station Alexander Zhuk became the victims of the strike. Their death is reported by the Ukrainian media.

Losses

The official Telegram channel of the ground forces of Ukraine reported that on April 5, a Russian Ka-52 helicopter was destroyed on the eastern front. This was indirectly confirmed by the pro-Russian Fighterbomber channel, which published a photo of a helicopter with the caption "Earth is the sky, brothers!". It is worth noting that the channel published a photo of the Mi-24, and not the Ka-52 – it is more likely that the helicopter of the first type was shot down.

Arms and military equipment deliveries and news from the military-industrial complex

Polish President Andrzej Duda announced that Warsaw will supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with three batteries (24 pieces) of 120-mm M120 Rak self-propelled mortars. Also, the press secretary of the Polish government, Piotr Muller, said that Ukraine had increased the volume of orders in Poland for Rosomak armored personnel carriers (APCs) from 100 to 150.

Meanwhile, the EU cannot agree on where to buy ammunition for Ukraine for €1 billion. The countries have already agreed to jointly buy ammunition for Kyiv. The bone of contention remains the question of whether these arms contracts will be awarded exclusively to companies from the EU or they will also be open to third-party manufacturers, writes Politico.

The United States will transfer experimental anti-drone weapons to Ukraine, writes Defense One. We are talking about mobile platforms of the American company SAIC, about 10 of which are going to be transferred to Ukraine. Platforms have such functionality as:

Poland and Ukraine will produce 125 mm tank ammunition, which is used by most Soviet, Russian and Ukrainian tanks. Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa and the Ukrainian company signed the agreement in the presence of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and his Deputy Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin.

Ammunition production is also going on in Russia – on April 6 it was inspected by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. He visited defense plants in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where he checked the progress of the state defense order for the production of artillery and aviation ammunition. He was shown the recently made large-caliber bombs FAB-1500 M-54.

Drain and Photoshop report of American intelligence

On April 6, the Gray Zone Telegram channel associated with PMC Wagner published information according to which, by April 1, the planned deliveries of weapons to equip nine new brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been completed. Gray Zone also publishes in sufficient detail the number of vehicles for each of the teams. Allegedly, the leak of the American intelligence briefing with this data was also published in other Telegram channels. According to him, the total number of weapons required for nine brigades is 253 tanks, 381 tracked vehicles, 480 wheeled vehicles, 147 artillery pieces, and 571 armored HMMWVs.

Later, however, it turned out that the document, which was actively reposted by Z-channels and various Russian "military correspondents", was corrected, in particular, the numbers in the losses section were changed – Russian losses among the military were reduced by almost three times, losses among fighters – by 10 times, ground technology – 10 times. At the same time, the losses of Ukraine are greatly overestimated – by the military by 4.5 times. Where the original document came from is also not clear; it was published on the anonymous 4chan forum. Therefore, the reliability of the figures for the supply of equipment cannot be confirmed, although they, apparently, do not contradict data from open sources.

DRG again in the Bryansk region

The governor of the Bryansk region announced another sabotage group that penetrated the territory of the Bryansk region. “The Border Directorate of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Bryansk region thwarted an attempt to penetrate the territory of the Russian Federation near the village of Sluchovsk, Pogarsky district, of a Ukrainian DRG in the amount of 20 people. Units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, together with units of the border troops, inflicted a fire defeat on the enemy, ”he wrote in his Telegram channel.

This was also reported by the Moscow Calling Telegram channel of the former LPR militant Andrei Kurshin. According to him, they were fighters of the so-called "Russian Volunteer Corps". However, he later deleted the post. The RDK channel also reported on a visit to the Bryansk region. The post was accompanied by a video that did not show the Russian security forces.

The border guards of the FSB, who arrived at the place where the Ukrainian DRG crossed the border, had only to fix the spent tube from the M136 grenade launcher left on the road, writes the pro-Russian channel "Military Informant".

About the main events of the war on April 5 – in the previous report: “ Fights in Bakhmut, Avdeevka and Marinka, the fall of a light aircraft in the Bryansk region. What's going on at the front ."
