In Ingushetia, three policemen were killed in a shootout, eight more were injured. According to RIA Novosti with reference to sources, a counter-terrorist operation (CTO) is taking place in the Malgobek region.
Telegram channel 112, close to the security forces, reports that the FSB special forces, together with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Guard, blocked suspects in the attack on the traffic police post in a private house. According to the channel, there are four people in the house in the village of Zyazikov-Yurt, and the shooting continues all night. "112" claims that the senior district policeman, as well as two seconded employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, were killed.
The militants who attacked the security forces managed to escape, they are being searched for, a source told RIA Novosti.
Updated: The Telegram channel Baza reported that a policeman from Malgobek Bashir Khautiev, as well as Maxim Rodionov and Maxim Alekhin from the Tula region, were killed. According to the channel, the battle has already ended, but the fate of the people who fired back from the blocked house is still unknown.
On March 27, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia reported an attack on a Volga-14 traffic police post in the Nazranovsky district of the republic. Then one policeman was wounded, the attackers fled.
