Two mobilized, detained on the parade ground, received 3 years in prison for refusing to fight in Ukraine

Two mobilized, who refused to comply with the order of the commander to participate in hostilities in the war in Ukraine, received a sentence of 3 years in prison. It is reported by "Kommersant".

We are talking about Yuri Degtyarev and Alexei Selivanov, who became the heroes of the video , distributed in Telegram channels in November 2022. In the footage, young people are defiantly detained on the parade ground during the construction in the Belgorod part.

As the publication found out, the convicts pleaded guilty and asked to commute their sentence, and also talked about their readiness to return to the war zone, but the appellate court refused to change the punishment.

In March, Mediazona wrote that Russian courts had already received more than 500 cases against servicemen who refused to obey orders after the start of mobilization. Judging by court cases, contract soldiers and mobilized en masse are leaving units, refusing to go to Ukraine or deserting from the front.
