The pilot of the Ukrainian plane A-22 crashed in the Bryansk region was arrested

Arrested Ukrainian pilot Alexei Morozov, who was detained immediately after the crash of an A-22 light aircraft in the Bryansk region, he will be in jail until May 4. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Soviet district court of Bryansk.

The man is accused of illegally crossing the state border of the Russian Federation (Part 1 of Article 322 of the Criminal Code). According to the law, he faces a fine of up to 200 thousand rubles, or imprisonment for up to two years.

On April 5, a light aircraft crashed in Butovsk, Bryansk region. The FSB claims that the plane belongs to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the pilot tried to return to the territory of Ukraine and was detained by a border patrol. On the video of the interrogation, the man called the civilian pilot Alexander Morozov and stated that he was on an aerial photography assignment. According to the body of inquiry, the pilot crossed the state border of Ukraine with Russia, in the Bryansk region caught on a high-voltage power line and made an emergency landing. He did not have any documents or permission to enter Russia. According to TASS with reference to a representative of the National Guard, the pilot was noticed by local residents and turned to law enforcement agencies. The man was found to have "a machine gun and a bulletproof vest." The agency also claims that, according to the pilot, he was promised a reward of 50,000 hryvnias (about 100,000 rubles) for completing tasks of reconnaissance from the air.
