The head of North Ossetia, Sergei Menyailo, appealed to the military prosecutor's office because of the abuse of mobilized military personnel.
Menyailo received information about the incident from Vera Adaeva, head of the Ossetian foundation that supports the Russian army. She provided the head of the republic with recordings depicting bullying of soldiers.
Menyailo accused the commander of one of the battalions, who is located in Ukraine in the Kherson direction, of “impermissible treatment” of military personnel. According to the head of North Ossetia, there are 46 people mobilized from this republic in the unit.
Menyailo also said that he had already managed to find out the identity of the battalion commander, and applied to the military prosecutor's office of the North Caucasus and Southern military districts. Currently, "all circumstances are being clarified."
One of the videos was published by the Baza Telegram channel. It shows how two men force an apology from a kneeling soldier with bruises on his face, and then begin to beat him. Judging by the words of the person filming the video, the conflict occurred over a sleeping bag.
