Navalny was sent to the ShIZO for the 13th time. This time for the FBK’s investigation into how the Federal Penitentiary Service purchases products at inflated prices

Alexei Navalny in the colony was again sent to the ShIZO for 15 days. He spent only two days in an ordinary cell – Saturday and Sunday. Navalny’s social networks say that the oppositionist was limited in buying food, “they set a walk for 7 in the morning (important, because walking during the day, you can stand in the square of the sun, if you’re lucky), they almost completely removed the time for letters, and even organized a personal sewing workshop . The neighboring cell was turned into a “working” cell, that is, they put a sewing machine there.”

The reason for this tightening in Navalny's blog is the investigation of his employees on the purchase of cabbage by the Federal Penitentiary Service in the colony at inflated prices.

The investigation states that “the wholesale price of cabbage in the summer was 6 rubles per kilogram. At the same moment, the Federal Penitentiary Service buys it for 27 rubles 50 kopecks in unimaginable quantities. There are 400 thousand convicts in the country, and cabbage is their main diet. All other products are purchased in much the same way. So this cabbage is golden.”

Navalny regularly ends up in a ShIZO cell for far-fetched reasons. Now he is in the ShIZO for the 13th time. Previously, he got there because of the word “f*ck” in a conversation with a cellmate or, for example, because he violated the uniform and did not wear a jacket.

In the ShIZO, Navalny had previously been repeatedly placed either with people with problems in terms of hygiene, or with the flu. At some point, a man with a mental disorder was placed in the next cell, who screamed day and night.
