Died writer Eduard Bagirov

Writer Eduard Bagirov died at the age of 47. His death was reported by blogger Ilya Varlamov and propagandist Margarita Simonyan .

“For the last week, the writer has been in a coma, all his organs failed,” Varlamov News said in a report.

In 2007, he became famous for his autobiographical novel "Guest worker", where he talked about the adventures of a young guy who came without a penny of money to "conquer Moscow." Later, his novels The Lovers (2008) and The Idealist (2010) were published.

The writer was a confidant of Vladimir Putin in the 2012 elections. In 2016, he ran for the State Duma from the Patriots of Russia party. In 2015, he was sentenced in absentia to five years in prison for organizing mass riots in 2009 in Moldova.
