The register of persons liable for military service in full can be launched no earlier than the next autumn call for military service, that is, in seven months, said Maksut Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development. According to him, the exact timing of the launch of the registry is still unknown:
“The exact timing of the launch of the registry will be determined after the adoption of the law, but most likely it will not be possible to launch it in full until the start of the next autumn conscription.”
The autumn call will run from October 1 to December 31. In the regions of the Far North, the autumn conscription will take place from November 1 to December 31.
On April 11, the State Duma passed the law on electronic subpoenas for those liable for military service in three readings at once. Now the subpoenas will not only be delivered to homes and handed over at the subway, stopping people on the streets, but also sent electronically, as well as by registered mail.
In the register of persons liable for military service, which the head of the Ministry of Digital Development speaks of, information about sent subpoenas will be entered. The subpoena will be considered automatically served seven days after the information about it is entered in this register.
