The court did not accept the protocol on “discrediting the army” drawn up on the Z-patriot Yevich

The court in the Kaluga region did not accept the protocol on "discrediting the Russian army" against the military surgeon and Z-patriot Yuri Yevich, the case was returned without consideration. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

Earlier, Governor of Kaluga Vladislav Shapsha and Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev stood up for Yevich. The latter said that he was ready to pay a fine for Jevic if the court found him guilty.

A lawsuit against Yevich was filed by a representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk after the doctor gave a lecture on military-patriotic education in Sakhalin to the National Guard. The protocol on the administrative offense mentioned four quotations from a three-hour lecture during which the military doctor was said to have "made statements aimed at creating a negative assessment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation due to the implementation of the SVO." Yevich, in particular, pointed to the insufficient level of training and equipment in the medical field among the employees of the National Guard.

Jevic himself assumed that the case was initiated by the local authorities. The trial was to take place on April 18 in the Kaluga region.

Yuri Yevich is a popularizer of tactical medicine, the author of books and courses on this discipline. Born in Gorlovka, Donetsk region. After the outbreak of the conflict in eastern Ukraine in 2014, he joined the ranks of the armed formations of the unrecognized DPR, where he received the rank of senior lieutenant of the medical service.
