In Transbaikalia, the widows of the military who died in Ukraine are asking the authorities to improve the places of burial, as well as to protect the graves – wreaths are constantly broken on them, and monuments are also painted. This was reported by the TV channel "Transbaikalia", the publication "People of Baikal" drew attention to the news.

The report says that the widows are asking to ennoble the territory of the "Walk of Fame" in the Borzinsky settlement, make burials in a single style and pave the territory with tiles. Now you can go to the graves through the old wooden doors that lie on slate slabs.

“The guys died for our country, defended us. All the same, they should have some honor. You can look at the administrative sites. We don't have any information on our website. It is also impossible to get any information from the administration. They just say it’s not in our competence,” says one of the widows, Svetlana Nazarova.

The head of the Borzinsky urban settlement, where the "Walk of Fame" is located, Vladimir Nekhamkin, said that so far it is planned to install a stele at this place by the efforts of entrepreneurs. The TV channel showed a sketch – this is a monument with flying cranes and a huge letter Z.
