“In the frames of the distributed video, an unknown person in the summer season in camouflage uses violence with a knife against an unknown soldier, as a result of which he causes death,” the message says.
Investigators will assess the credibility of the video and "make an appropriate decision".

On April 11, pro-Russian Telegram channels posted a video showing the Russian military beheading a still-living Ukrainian soldier lying on the ground. Further, one of the participants in this war crime suggests putting the head of a Ukrainian in a bag and “sending it to the commander.” On April 9, a photograph of a skull planted on a branch appeared in the public VK MILITARY Z. According to the caption, the photo was taken in Bakhmut and you can see the remains of an APU soldier on it. The Ukrainian volunteer organization OSINT InformNapalm reported that they have been recording cases of beheadings of Ukrainians, including civilians, by Russian militants since 2014.
