A 60-year-old resident of Komi was arrested for trying to set fire to the military registration and enlistment office, accusing her of “attempted terrorist attack”

A 60-year-old resident of Komi (N. G. Kornilova) was arrested for trying to set fire to the military registration and enlistment office, accusing her of attempted terrorist attack. This was reported by the press service of the court.

According to investigators, in April, a woman committed an “attempt to set fire to the front door of the military commissariat building” in the city of Usinsk using home-made Molotov cocktails.

As noted by the local publication "Komiinform", the fire did not start from this. A woman working as a maid in one of the local cleaning companies was detained by a police officer.

Since the beginning of the war, dozens of activists have been charged with setting fire to military registration and enlistment offices, and all of them face harsh sentences. Often such cases are reclassified from "hooliganism" articles to "terrorist" articles.

One of the most brutal arson sentences was handed down recently, on April 10, to Roman Nasryev and Aleksey Nuriev: they received 19 years each for setting fire to the administration building, which housed the military registry office.
