On Friday, April 14, the Russian Ministry of Justice added eight people and organizations to the list of "foreign agents".
- Comedian and musician Sergei Slepakov;
- publicist Igor Yakovenko;
- screenwriter and animator Pavel Muntyan;
- journalist Pavel Kanygin;
- Carnegie Endowment for International Peace;
- publication "Agency";
- online publication "Polygon";
- association "Rainbow Association".
The explanations of the Ministry of Justice say that Slepakov, Yakovenko, Muntyan and Kanygin "opposed the special military operation." The Carnegie Endowment, the Agency and Polygon allegedly "spread false information" and "discredited" the activities of the Russian army. The Rainbow Association, according to the Ministry of Justice, is engaged in "propaganda of LGBT relations."
