MTS will prohibit employees from working from abroad – Spectrum

Starting from June, MTS will prohibit its employees from working remotely from abroad. Spektr writes about this, citing sources in the company.

According to one of them, from the beginning of the summer, MTS will close the possibility of remote access to corporate resources for employees who are outside of Russia. As a result, they will not be able to log into their accounts and, accordingly, work.

“They were asked to return to Russia. Otherwise, the contract with them will be terminated,” the source said.

According to another source, the company's management made this decision back in March, and the requirements will affect employees of all MTS divisions. There were no official comments from MTS on this matter.

The fact that MTS employees are faced with a choice – to quit or work only from Russia, The Insider wrote before. In particular, back in October 2022, an employee who had worked there for more than 15 years and left Russia after the start of the war left the company. After the authorities gave her an ultimatum, she decided to quit.
