Pupils of closed school No. 124 in Yekaterinburg are regularly subjected to sexual violence. The mother of one of the pupils of the educational institution stated this in the RF IC, according to Vecherniye Vesti. The Yekaterinburg portal E1 , edition 66.ru and RIA Novosti also wrote about this.
Children attending this school are subjected to "comradely courts" – a practice introduced by one of the educators. What will be the punishment is determined by a general vote among the students.
According to one of the students who cite Evening News, the bullying that the teacher subjected the children to could be different. The pupil could simply be “morally lowered”, or they could do “something sexual, unpleasant”. In addition, the child mentions a practice called "high chair" where the delinquent is forced to kneel for a long time.
Students talk about being forced to perform oral sex in public. The class at the same time had to look at what was happening under the threat that they would "do the same to them." In addition, there is one evidence of forced anal sex, as well as that children were forced to bang their heads against the wall.
According to one of the victims, many of those who were tried by the "comrades' court" were under 13 years old.
A lawyer representing the interests of the mother of one of the victims, Georgy Krasnov, said that law enforcement officers had already opened a criminal case. However, it was initiated only against other students who took part in the bullying, and not against the school staff.
The children's ombudsman in the Sverdlovsk region, Igor Morokov, told Kommersant that no one had any complaints about the work of the school in recent years. He promised to "watch and figure it out," however, after investigative actions were taken. “There are a lot of people there now: the investigative committee, the prosecutor’s office,” he explained.
The website of the closed school No. 124 states that the main goal of creating this institution is to ensure the social, pedagogical, psychological, medical rehabilitation of pupils, including the correction of their behavior. “The organization of the educational process in the SUVU is considered as one of the main elements of rehabilitation,” the annotation emphasizes.
