Another teenager arrested on suspicion of violence against peers in a special school in Yekaterinburg

In Yekaterinburg, a court placed under arrest a 15-year-old teenager suspected of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old student of a closed special school No. 124 in Yekaterinburg. It is reported by 66.ru with reference to the press service of the court.

The teenager was sent to the Kirovograd juvenile colony, where he will stay at least until June 11.

Another suspect (16-year-old teenager) was arrested three days earlier. The mass media do not report about the detention of any of the teaching staff of the school or its leadership. Previously, the Ural Parents' Committee demanded that the leadership be punished.

On April 14, a number of media outlets reported that students at the closed school No. 124 in Yekaterinburg are regularly subjected to sexual violence. This became known after the mother of one of the pupils of the educational institution filed an application with the Investigative Committee.

In a conversation with the media, school students said that one of the educators held "comrades' courts", in which "for bad behavior" children decided to "smell", "smell" and "lower". The educator, according to them, held a vote among the children on what to do with the "guilty". After such a vote, the victim could be “morally lowered”, or they could have done “something sexual, unpleasant”.

The children's ombudsman in the Sverdlovsk region, Igor Morokov, said earlier that no one had any complaints about the work of the school in recent years. He promised to "watch and figure it out," however, after investigative actions were taken. “There are a lot of people there now: the investigative committee, the prosecutor’s office,” he explained.
