The accounts of 15 bloggers, including Yegor Creed, Gusein Gasanov, Andrei Burim, Nikolai Lebedev, Yuri Khovansky, are included in the register of prohibited information by Roskomnadzor. The platforms Twitch, Telegram and Kick were sent requests to restrict access to accounts in Russia. This was reported to TASS by the head of the Safe Internet League, Elena Mizulina, who asked to check the social networks of bloggers for the illegal distribution of advertising for online casinos and bookmakers.
“In addition, the Federal Tax Service reported that “a set of control and analytical measures has been organized regarding the possible presence of signs of a violation of tax laws,” Mizulina added.
According to the Safe Internet League, bloggers create Telegram channels to transfer their audience there and distribute casino advertising using psychological tricks. At the same time, according to the organization, each blogger has his own unique referral link, through which they receive 50% of the lost money of their audience.
On February 17, 2023, it became known that the Safe Internet League compiled a list of bloggers who, in its opinion, should be "criminally punished."
