Incumbent US President Joe Biden has officially announced that he will be running in the US presidential election in 2024.
“The question before us is whether we will have more freedom or less freedom in the coming years. More right or less. I know what the answer should be, and I think you do too. This is not the time to be complacent. That's why I'm running for re-election," Biden said in his campaign video.
The current vice president of the country, Kamala Harris, said that she would be nominated in this capacity in tandem with Biden.
The US presidential election will take place on November 5, 2024. In the same month, Biden will turn 82 years old.
