General Mizintsev, who threatened to put his subordinates on a bottle, was fired from the post of deputy minister – Z-channels

Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev has been fired from the post of Russian Deputy Defense Minister for Logistics, according to the pro-Russian Telegram channel Rybar. In addition, General Oleg Gorshenin, who at one time replaced Mizintsev as head of the National Center for Defense Control (NTsUO RF), was allegedly removed from his post. Rybar notes that the reasons for these decisions are still unclear.

The resignation of Mizintsev was also announced by the "commander" of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Alexander Sladkov. He noted that the appointment of this general to the post of Deputy Minister for Logistics initially looked strange, since Mizintsev was not a "rear front". According to Sladkov, other resignations should also be expected, since "there is an untimely escalation of the struggle within the power bloc."

Mizintsev became deputy defense minister in September last year, replacing General Dmitry Bulgakov. Prior to this appointment, Mizintsev led the NCUO. He, in particular, commanded the assault on Mariupol and led the operation in Syria. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published an audio recording where the general insults his subordinates, threatens to “push a broken bottle of beer into it” and blame it on the “homeless”.
