Loqiemean concerts have started to be canceled in Russia. Mizulina threatened the musician with a case for “discrediting the army and promoting LGBT people”

In Russia, the concerts of the rap metaller Loqiemean (Roman Khudyakov) began to be canceled, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, turned to the Prosecutor General’s Office and threatened the musician with opening a case for “discrediting the army and promoting LGBT”. She said in her Telegram channel that these are not all measures that may affect the performer:

“I don’t think that the matter will end only with the cancellation of concerts. It is quite possible that he will be brought to administrative responsibility for discrediting the army and promoting LGBT people.”

According to Mizulina, rapper Loqiemean's planned concerts in Russia "grossly violate the constitutionally protected rights and interests of children." In a statement addressed to Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, she writes that “parental and other public associations” turned to the Safe Internet League, concerned about the “gross violation of national security legislation.”

At the end of February 2022, Lokimin was detained on Pushkinskaya Square in Moscow at an anti-war rally. In March, he wrote on social networks that he had little idea how to make music in the Russian Federation at such a moment, and "plans for this year are unrealistic." He also argued that freedom of speech is shrinking "to the boundaries of one nasty letter Z."

“We will definitely survive this war. And we will try even harder to never let it happen again. Each according to his own strength, ”wrote the musician.

The Telegram channel Mash reported about the partial cancellation of Loqiemean concerts. According to the channel, the posters of the tour in Moscow, Samara and Tyumen have already disappeared. The rest of the declared sites remain in question, the channel reported.

In August 2021, Yuri Dud published an interview with Loqiemean on his channel, the artist talked about the problems of modern Russia, about his attitude to religion, new Russian music, and also about Siberian education.

The artist expressed his oppositional views in 2019 as well. He stated on the Vpiska YouTube channel that he hoped to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin only when he “will be escorted to another world,” since during his lifetime there is nothing to talk about: “I hope that I will meet him when we are take him to another world. What's the point of talking to him? He is not human. Whatever you say, fuck him. You can't bring him to his senses. Grandfather has already formed, ”said Khudyakov.

Earlier in April, Mash reported that 21-year-old rapper Scally Milano (Danil Slonov) left Russia for Dubai after a disrupted concert in St. Petersburg during an anti-drug raid. After the concert, Mizulina also published a video with the artist on her Telegram channel, on the footage of the Elephants from the stage, together with the fans, she shouts: “Fuck the war!”

The daughter of Senator Elena Mizulina, Ekaterina, has been leading the Safe Internet League since 2018. Ekaterina Mizulina regularly appeals to the Prosecutor General's Office with requests to check artists objectionable to the authorities, especially those who oppose the war in Ukraine. Before the invasion of the Russian Federation into a neighboring state, the League also found reasons to check artists. So, according to the denunciation of the League, Morgenstern was found guilty of “drug propaganda among children” and fined him in the amount of 100 thousand rubles. Also, due to the complaint of the League, an administrative case was opened against journalist Yuri Dudya, he was fined 100 thousand rubles. According to the complaint of the League, Aljay was fined the same amount.
