FSB announced the arrest of “Ukrainian intelligence agents” who allegedly prepared sabotage against the leadership of the annexed Crimea

The FSB announced the detention of suspects in the preparation of explosions in the annexed Crimea. The secret service claims that members of the group were preparing a "series of high-profile sabotage and terrorist acts" against the leadership of the annexed peninsula, including the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, parliament speaker Vladimir Konstantinov, and the mayor of Yalta, Yanina Pavlenko.

The report says that six citizens of Russia and Ukraine aged 34 to 55 were detained in Crimea. Their names are: Viktor Podvalny, Alexander Litvinenko, Sergei Krivoshein, Konstantin Evmenenko, Igor Zorin, Sergei Voinarovsky. Another person, a citizen of Ukraine and Bulgaria named Petranov, was detained in another place. They are called the "intelligence network of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine."

The FSB claims that the detainees were engaged in the supply of explosives to the Crimea in household electric stoves. These electric stoves were allegedly transported by cars from Bulgaria through Turkey and Georgia, and in Russia they were sent through the transport companies SDEK and Vozovoz. The detainees, according to the secret service, also bought weapons and followed the Crimean officials "using special technical means."

The report says that during the searches, five homemade bombs, about 6 kg of explosives, electric detonators and trackers for surveillance were seized from the detainees.

According to the FSB and Governor Aksenov , the group is also accused of blowing up the railway near Bakhchisaray on February 23, 2023. Then the Crimean officials denied undermining.

The Ukrainian authorities have not yet commented on the FSB statement.
