Pro-Russian Telegram channel “Sevastopol. SMERSH published a video with an apology to the mother of a schoolboy who jokingly commented on a fire at an oil depot in Sevastopol. She says that on April 29, her son posted a video where he jokingly “seems to be flying in a plane and dropping a bomb on an oil storage facility.”
There were two videos that the woman is talking about. On April 30, both were published by Sevastopol. SMERSH. On the first of them, a teenager plays a computer game and says that he is going to hit a virtual Sevastopol with a bomb. He then moves the camera to a window overlooking a plume of smoke over the oil depot and says "F*ck what the f*ck did I do." In the second video, the guy plays War Thunder and calls the game realistic, comparing the in-game destruction and the view of the fire in Cossack Bay on camera.
In the apology video, the teen's mother says she'll be more careful with her son from now on. “Dear Sevastopol residents, I sincerely apologize for this act, for this stupid joke. Our family wholeheartedly supports the NWO and the political course. Thanks to comrade major for the time spent,” the woman says. At that time, a Russian flag hangs against her background, and her son stands next to her, whose face is blurred. The fire, which the teenager joked about, occurred on the night of April 29. The Armed Forces of Ukraine called it preparation for a counteroffensive.
This is at least the third recorded apology video filmed by Z-channels in just three days of May. On the 1st, the telegram channel “OPER Leaked”, connected with the security forces, published a recording of an apology from Ukrainian citizen Svetlana Matukhnova. She lives in Sochi and was arrested twice in April for posts in support of Ukraine. On May 2, the channel of the "professional" informer Alexander Talipov "Crimean SMERSH" published a video in which a guy from Yalta apologizes. Prior to that, he said in a street poll that he supports Ukraine.
