Director Yevgenia Berkovich was detained as a suspect in the case of justifying terrorism because of the play Finist Yasny Sokol. This is reported by OVD-Info with reference to her lawyer Yulia Tregubova.
Svetlana Petriychuk, the author of the play Finist the Clear Falcon, was also interrogated in the case. She was detained on May 4 in the morning at Vnukovo airport. Earlier it was reported that Berkovich was involved in a criminal case as a witness.
On May 4, the apartments of Berkovich and her mother, Elena Efros, were searched.
