The third FAB-500 bomb was found in the Belgorod region. According to the Telegram channel Shot, this time the bomb was found in the village of Golovchino, 10 km from the Ukrainian border. Its fall took place on April 25, a few days after the emergency in Belgorod, when two FAB-500s fell on the city due to the loss of ammunition from the Su-34 – one exploded, the second did not.
On Saturday, April 22, an unexploded aerial bomb was found in Belgorod 250 meters from the site of the explosion of Russian ammunition on the evening of April 20. The city authorities declared a state of emergency, residents of nearby houses were evacuated. About three thousand citizens lived near the bomb for more than a day, 36 hours, despite noticeable damage to infrastructure from unexploded ordnance.
The first bomb fell on the center of Belgorod and exploded. A crater formed at the intersection of Vatutin Avenue and Gubkin Street, the houses around were covered with asphalt, and cars parked nearby were damaged. Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense explained the incident as "an abnormal gathering of aviation ammunition." According to the agency, the “descent” occurred during the flight of the Su-34 VKS, an investigation is underway.
