“Layout”: The revenue of Russian companies godfather Putin Medvedchuk tripled during the year of the war

The Russian companies ATI and Tradeproekt, owned by Putin’s godfather Viktor Medvedchuk since 2022, showed a record revenue of 291.7 billion rubles, Nestka found out .

Of this amount, ATI earned 288.7 billion rubles. At the same time, the company's cost of sales and other expenses exceeded revenue, the newspaper notes. ATI closed the year with a loss of 30 million rubles.

The net profit of Tradeproekt for the year amounted to almost 88 million rubles with a revenue of 3 billion rubles. For comparison, in 2021, the total revenue of these two companies amounted to 98.8 billion rubles, that is, almost three times less.

Tradeproekt supplies fuel to utility companies in the Lipetsk region, and also owns 33 filling stations in the Lipetsk, Tyumen and Kurgan regions. ATI provides brokerage services in the oil and gas market.

Earlier, Schemes and Scanner project learned that from the end of 2021 and mid-2022, these legal entities are controlled by the GK Market joint-stock company, which is associated with Medvedchuk's entourage. At the end of 2022, GK Market established two more oil producing companies – INGT and KNK.

Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk, also known as Vladimir Putin's godfather, was detained by the SBU in April 2022 after he escaped from house arrest. He was accused of high treason and attempted embezzlement of national resources in Crimea. In September 2022, Medvedchuk was exchanged for the defenders of Azovstal. Later, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stripped him of his Ukrainian citizenship.
