The screenwriter of the films “Ice” and “Battle for Sevastopol” died near Bakhmut as part of the Wagner PMC

Russian screenwriter Leonid Korin, who worked on the scripts for the films "Ice" and "Battle for Sevastopol", died near Bakhmut. An entry about this appeared in the Telegram channel of the “patriotic media platform” “Conservative”. The publication was reposted by RT propagandist Anton Krasovsky. Other Z-channels also spread information about the death, for example, the Zergulio channel of the Stalinist blogger Sergei Kolyasnikov.

Korin was 47 years old. According to the channel, during the war in Ukraine, he volunteered for the Wagner PMC.

Korin graduated from the St. Petersburg State Film and Television Institute in 2010. He also took part in the creation of the series "The Last Cop", "I See-I Know", "Family Detective" and "Foundry".
