Croatian group performed at Eurovision a song about Putin with the words “mean little psychopath”

Rock band Let 3 performed the song Mama ŠČ! with the chorus "That little psychopath, mean little psychopath, crocodile psychopath. Mom, we are going to fight”, dedicated to Vladimir Putin.

The soloist of the group, which was founded in 1987 in Yugoslavia, performed with a false mustache, in a bright outfit and a cap, and the song mentions a tractor. Because of this, the audience decided that it was about Alexander Lukashenko. When a man with two fake nuclear missiles appeared on stage at the end of the song, there were suggestions that this was an allusion to Vladimir Putin.

As the soloist of Let 3 Prlya explained , the song really refers to the president of Russia and the word "psychopath" characterizes him. At the same time, he mentioned that if the song had been written 10 years ago, then another dictator would have been in his place, and "in 10 years, unfortunately, there will surely be someone else again."

The 67th Eurovision Song Contest kicked off in Liverpool on 9 May. Since last year's winner was the Ukrainian team Kalush Orchestra, this year it was supposed to be held in Ukraine. However, due to the ongoing war, the European Broadcasting Union has decided to give the 2023 Eurovision host to the UK, whose representative came in second in 2022.

There were 15 participants in the first semi-final of the competition, 10 of them went further. Let 3 aroused the greatest interest of the audience and made it to the finals first.
