The person involved in the Mayakovsky case was asked for four years in a general regime colony

One of the defendants in the Mayakovsky case, Nikolai Daineko, was asked for four years in a general regime colony. It is reported by OVD-Info. Photos from the courtroom were published by SotaVision.

Earlier, Daineko and two other defendants, Artem Kamardin and Yegor Shtovba, were charged with two articles of the Criminal Code: paragraph “c” of part 2 of Art. 282 and part 3 of Art. 280.4 – about "public calls for the implementation of activities directed against the security of the state, committed by an organized group."

The three Russians were detained in September 2022, the day after yet another Mayakovsky Readings, where poets read their poems, some of them anti-war. The security forces broke into the apartment where Kamardin lived with his friends. Everyone who was there was beaten, sexualized violence was used against Kamardin under recording on camera, a dumbbell was thrust into his anus. Later, the torture video was shown to his girlfriend Alexandra Popova. The poets were forced to apologize for their poems on video.
