As a result, Alexander Shubin, a native of Lugansk, who accompanied him, who had fought for the “LPR” in the past, died. Russian agencies call him a fighter of the Oplot battalion of the National Guard. Prilepin himself was wounded, in particular, his legs were broken.

On the same day, on suspicion of involvement in the explosion, the security forces detained Alexander Permyakov, a native of the Donetsk region. He was charged with a terrorist attack and trafficking in explosives and arrested .

“Officially, we can neither confirm nor deny the involvement of the SBU in this or that cotton that occurs with the occupiers and their henchmen,” the Security Service of Ukraine said .
