The National Police of Ukraine sent to court a case against the deputy commander of the armament battalion of military unit 62892, a serviceman of the 245th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the RF Armed Forces (his name was not disclosed in the publication) for killing a civilian during the occupation of Izyum. The message was published in the Telegram channel of the National Police.
The 39-year-old army major is accused of violating the laws and customs of war and premeditated murder (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), he may face life imprisonment. The military will be judged in absentia in the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Kharkov.
According to the Ukrainian police, during the occupation of Izyum, the military repeatedly molested a 36-year-old woman, she did not react in any way to his “compliments”. On June 2, a woman came to the headquarters of the Russian military, because she wanted to call her brother from the Ivano-Frankivsk region, and WI-FI was in this place. Then the major shot her right in the chest, the victim died.
So the military decided to "revenge" the woman for the refusal. All this time, he was jealous of a woman for other men, while having a wife in Russia, the Dumka newspaper writes , citing the press service of the Kharkov Regional Prosecutor's Office. The police were able to identify the military involved in the murder after the de-occupation of Izyum.
