Russian military take stolen property from Zaporozhye region to Crimea – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Russian military, under the pretext of evacuating civilians, continues to take stolen property to Crimea from the front-line settlements of the annexed Zaporozhye region. This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on Facebook.

According to the General Staff, in Energodar, Russian military personnel completely plundered the city's medical facilities, and all the city's medical equipment was taken to the annexed Simferopol. Also, all enterprises located in the industrial zone near the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) were completely looted.

In addition, the report says that Russian troops continue to suffer heavy losses on the battlefield, so civilian educational institutions in the occupied territories are being converted into medical facilities. In Luhansk, the premises of three local hospitals are fully equipped as military hospitals, where there are fighters with minor and moderate injuries.

In May 2022, The Insider talked to residents of Kherson, occupied by Russian troops. One of the volunteers told how the Russian military forcibly took vehicles from the villagers in the region, there were also cases when a Kamaz with soldiers drove up, and the whole family was put out of the house on the street. Household appliances – washing machines, vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, hoods – were loaded into a car and taken out. In a village in the north-east of the Kherson region, two girls were raped, the neighbors claim that they were “Kadyrovtsy”. Men and women were beaten in the basements without being interrogated or tortured, it was a “splash of aggression,” the volunteer claims.
