In Ukraine, a collaborator who passed data on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region was sentenced to 15 years in prison

A court in Ukraine has sentenced a man to 15 years in prison for passing data on the positions of Ukrainian rocket artillery to the Russian military. He was found guilty of state treason committed under martial law (part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code). The investigation was carried out by employees of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region under the procedural leadership of the regional prosecutor's office.

According to the investigation, the convict is a resident of the Lugansk region. At the beginning of a full-scale invasion, on his own initiative, he contacted two Russian military men with the call signs "Yasha" and "Ural". The man "leaked" them information about the location of the positions of the Ukrainian MLRS "Grad". They used the data obtained to prepare targeted missile and artillery strikes. It is also reported that the collaborator attracted his wife and acquaintances to cooperate with Russia.
