The Tobolsk city court decided to send a ninth grader from Tobolsk to a psycho-neurological hospital under the supervision of doctors. He was accused of preparing for a terrorist attack because he planned to set fire to the military registration and enlistment office. According to the order, he will remain in custody until May 22, according to the United Press Service of the Judicial System of the Tyumen Region.
The case file states that on the evening of February 23, 2023, a 15-year-old boy, taking with him a lighter and a Molotov cocktail, went to the building of the military registration and enlistment office of Tobolsk and the Tobolsk region. On the way, he was detained by the FSB.
The Tobolsk city court sent him to a pre-trial detention center for two months, but later changed his preventive measure to house arrest. The conclusion of the forensic psychiatric expert, obtained during the preliminary investigation, indicated that the teenager needed special medical care.
On May 4, the Western District Military Court sentenced a resident of Vyborg to 11 years in prison on charges of planning to set fire to a military enlistment office. For this, as stated in the press service of the FSB department for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, he allegedly conspired with an unnamed person from Ukraine.
