The French company Marchante, during the war, supplied the Russian weapons company Kurganpribor with technical products.

The French were not embarrassed either by the fact that Kurganpribor was the official partner of the Kalashnikov concern, or by the fact that the owner of the Russian company was Russian senator Sergei Muratov. Kurganpribor itself was blacklisted by the EU only in December, but a member of the Federation Council has been under personal sanctions since March last year. This did not interrupt his business relationship with Marchante.

Sergey Muratov

Senator Muratov, of course, supports Russia's war against Ukraine. Moreover, it is personally beneficial to him: Kurganpribor is a manufacturer of fuses for tank shots, land and naval artillery, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and anti-aircraft missile systems.
