In St. Petersburg, as part of the case of preparing for a terrorist attack, searches are being carried out at the homes of activists of the Association of Carriers of Russia

In St. Petersburg, searches are being carried out in the office and apartments of activists of the Association of Carriers of Russia. About this writes "OVD-Info" with reference to the human rights activist Dinar Idrisov. Three activists of the association were detained: the leader, Sergei Vladimirov, the head of the St. Petersburg branch, Sergei Ponezha, and another person, whose name has not been released. They were taken to the FSB headquarters on Liteiny Prospekt

The searches are being carried out as part of a criminal case on preparations for a terrorist act (Article 205 with the comment of Article 30 of the Criminal Code), Idrisov said. What it is connected with is unknown. The GORN Telegram channel writes that the security forces broke down the doors to the activists’ apartments and searched for weapons and explosives from them. The FSB also demanded that they "immediately confess to almost preparing for an attempted assassination of the president, hand over the arsenal and accomplices."

Members of the Association of Carriers of Russia oppose the Platon system launched in 2015. It collects an additional fee from trucks with a maximum permissible weight of more than 12 tons for the use of federal highways.
