Quarantine introduced in several districts of Moscow due to bird flu

In several districts of Moscow, cases of bird diseases have been identified. In this regard, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin ordered quarantine to be introduced in these territories, TASS reports .

The list of dangerous areas includes: Brateevo, Kapotnya, Maryino, Lyublino, Pechatniki, Moskvorechye-Saburovo, Tsaritsyno, Biryulyovo East, Orekhovo-Borisovo North and South, Zyablikovo.

Quarantine is introduced due to cases of infection of wild birds in the Orekhovo-Borisovo region. Borisovsky Pond was named as the source of distribution.

Also, a case of bird flu was detected on a land plot bounded by Besedinskoye Highway in the Brateevo area.

During the quarantine period, the import and export of birds and hatching eggs, the procurement and export of bird feed, as well as the holding of fairs are prohibited.
