Lawyer Lyubov Sobol noticed that she was being followed in Berlin, which she wrote about on her Twitter account. “Just try to kill me before I finish the pretzel!” – she commented on the situation, noting that they followed her “badly”.
In 2019, surveillance of Sobol was organized by the founder of Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin. He spent more than 11 million rubles on this. Surveillance of the lawyer was carried out by several stringers who "took photographs or videos in accordance with the special mission" around the clock.
This project was supervised by Igor Mangushev, who “became famous” in the spring of 2022, when he called for the genocide of Ukrainians and demonstrated on the stage of the club, where he gave a speech, a human skull that allegedly belonged to the defender of the Mariupol plant Azovstal. Mangushev was killed in 2023 by a shot in the back of the head in the Russian-occupied territory of the Luhansk region.
