Several Ukrainians may be involved in Nord Stream explosions – Süddeutsche Zeitung

The Tages-Anzeiger publication published an article prepared on the investigation into the explosion on the Nord Stream gas pipelines, which is carried out by the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung, as well as other media from Poland, Denmark and Sweden. According to her, now investigators in the sabotage case are considering two main versions of what happened, and both of them lead to Ukraine.

The main lead in the investigation is the Polish company Feeria Lwowa, which rented the Andromeda ship from a German company, which may be involved in explosions on gas pipelines. The text notes that Feeria Lwowa is extremely similar to a shell company, as it has neither an office nor a website.

The company was registered in 2016 by a 32-year-old resident of Kerch, and her Ukrainian passport appears in the documents of the Polish company. At the same time, the woman has since changed her name and received Russian citizenship. Although Feeria Lwowa still belongs to her, the head of the company is a 55-year-old Ukrainian woman who refused to answer journalists' questions orally and asked to send them by e-mail.

The second version leads again to Ukraine. Here we are talking about fake Bulgarian and Romanian passports, which were obtained by the Andromeda crew. One of them was issued in the name of Stefan Marku. There really is such a person in Romania, but at the time of the explosions he was in his homeland.

According to the investigation, a 26-year-old Ukrainian serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine could be hiding under Stefan Marku's documents. His name is known to journalists, but they do not publish it for security reasons.

However, there are no definitive conclusions in the article. “Did the Ukrainians have helpers? Who trained the divers on the Andromeda in such sabotage operations? Did the explosives get on board already in the open sea? Or was it all just a big hoax?” asks unanswered questions. At the same time, it is noted that, according to the media involved in the investigation, the investigators in the sabotage case "have no indication that they are on the wrong track."

It is noted that the government and intelligence of Ukraine did not respond to a request for comment, and the German government stated that there was no specific position on the investigation conducted by the federal prosecutor. He also declined to comment.

Leaks on two lines of Nord Stream 1 and one line of Nord Stream 2 became known on September 26. Ukraine, Western countries, as well as Russia declare that they are not involved in explosions on gas pipelines.
